Magadh Foundation forms its first ward committee in Tamil Nadu in Perambur, Chennai District. The Perambur Ward Committee was formed with the approval of the founder and current president of the Magadh Foundation, Mr. KN Tripathi, a former minister of Jharkhand, in the presence of Mr. Venkatesh Ramaraj, Central Committee Member, State Convenor of Tamilnadu, and Incharge of Membership for South India, along with Mrs. Dilara Khan, Mr. Dharmesh T., Mrs. Bijoya Tanna, Mr. Namo Govindan, and the special invitee of the event, Er. K. Arul. This is the first committee that only has female members. Over 25 residents of the Perambur area joined and became members of the foundation, which formed this committee. Mrs. Subashini Reddy was appointed as the president of the ward committee. Other members of the committee present were Venkateshwari, Shailaja, Mythili Sree, Divya, Deepa, Sahayamary, Annapoorna, Sushma, Zeenat, Mahalakshmi, and Kanaga. “The roles and responsibilities for all the members of the Perambur committee will be assigned shortly. Our next district committee is scheduled for formation in the Kanyakumari District on April 1, 2023. We have planned to conduct a free eye check-up camp in the Vyasarpadi area and a free orthopaedic check-up camp and distribution of medicines at no cost to the neediest residents of the North Chennai area on the last week of April 2023,” Venkatesh said.
