Magadh Foundation forms its district committee in Kallakurichi on April 12, 2023. The Kallakurichi District Committee was formed with the approval of the founder and current president of the Magadh Foundation, Mr. KN Tripathi, a former minister of Jharkhand, in the presence of Mr. Venkatesh Ramaraj, Central Committee Member, State Convenor of Tamilnadu, and Incharge of Membership for South India, along with Mr. Dharmesh Tanna, Mrs. Bijoya Tanna, Mr. B.S. Sivaraj, Mr. Tarun Kashyap, Ms. Dilara Khan, Mr. Namo Govindan, Mr. Arul, Mrs. Binal Batavia and Ms. Subhashini Reddy. Over 21 residents of the Kallakurichi District joined and became members of the foundation, which formed this committee. Mr. John Dougles Selvakumar.T was appointed as the president of the committee. Other members of the committee present were Mr. Venkatachalam.K, Ms. Kanchana.S, Mr. Muthukumar.K, Mr. Vasudevan.K, Mr. Kumar.P, Mr. Dhanapal.PG, Ms. Sumathi.T, Ms. Dhanam. A, Ms. Ezhilarasi.R, Mr. Elumalai.M, Mr. Vijay.P, Ms. Selvi.S, Mr. Mohanraj.A, Ms. Suganthi.S, Ms. Jamunarani.SM, Ms. Ravathi, Mr. Manoj Prabakar.V, Mr. Ayyappan. S, Ms. Jenny vasantha Ruban. The postings for all the members of the Kallakurichi committee have already been assigned. “We are scheduled to form more committees in the other districts of Tamilnadu this month. A free orthopaedic check-up camp with the distribution of medicines at no cost is scheduled for April 30, 2023, for the neediest residents of the North Chennai area. Our Kanyakumari committee is planning to conduct a free eye camp at Nagercoil this month”, Venkatesh said. “The tribal residents of the Kaluvarayan Hills do not have basic amenities for their livelihood.
