Magadh Foundation organises a free breast check-up camp

Today, a breast cancer awareness and free check-up camp was conducted by Life Line Hospitals in association with the Magadh Foundation, the Lions Club of Dubai Emerald, and the Royal Fitness Centre at Perambur, Chennai. Dr. J.S. Rajkumar, Chairman of the Lifeline Hospitals, inaugurated the camp by cutting the ribbon. Dr. Karishma Devanathan, a breast cancer specialist, screened the beneficiaries who attended the camp. Nearly 25 women from the Perambur area attended and got screened in the camp. The Magadh Foundation members, including Mr. Venkatesh Ramaraj, the State Convenor and Central Committee member, Mr. B.S. Sivaraj, President of the Chennai District Committee, Mr. Tarun Kashyap, Ms. Dilara Khan, Ms. Bijoya Pandey, Mr. Dharmesh Tanna, Mr. Namo Govindan, Advocate Mr. Thamilprabhu, Mr. Kumar, Mr. Gideon, Mr. Venkatesh, and Ms. Mahalakshmi were present and assisted the medical team in conducting the camp. “As per a survey, one in eight Indian women lives with breast-related issues without knowing that they have a problem in their breast. Life Line Hospitals has been conducting a free breast checkup camp every Sunday to identify women with issues. Any findings at an early stage can be cured by appropriate treatments”, Dr. Rajkumar said.
